F.A.Q. about Myspace 2.0 layouts
Question 1: Ok, I am all new to this, what's 2.0? How am I going to know if I am using version 2.0?
I know, it might be confusing if you are all new to this. But, profile 2.0 is Myspace's latest profile version. It has a lot of new features, and more advanced than the old one, and they call it profile 1.0. Click here to see their differences.
Question 2: Your myspace 2.0 layouts won't work on my profile! What's up?
Answer 1: You probably didn't follow the instructions. There are two simple steps provided on the layout previews. you can click here for proper instruction.
Answer 2: Make sure you have NO THEME selected. If you didn't checked it, the layout code will not take effect.
Answer 3: You may have added the CSS code (a.k.a LAYOUT CODE) in your about me section which you should not. You should add it in your CSS section, go to Profile » Edit Profile » Select Theme » select No Theme » CSS » and add your layout code or click here for proper layout installation.
Question 3: I have selected "NO THEME" and I pressed the preview button, but I don't see any changes. How come?
Answer: Sometimes myspace gives error, you have to press it twice to make it actually work.
Question 4: They ask me this question: "Keep Custom Styles?" What should I select? Keep Custom Styles or Remove?
Answer: Keep Custom Styles.
Question 5: Myspace won't let me switch back to 1.0! What should I do?
Answer: Sad to say but once you upgrade your profile to 2.0, it will not let you switch back anymore. They might fix it eventually. We have a lot of backgrounds for you though, click here.
