Uploading Your Facebook Cover Photo
Your Facebook cover photo is a larger image than your profile picture that represents who you are or your interests. According to Facebook, individualizing your cover photo gives a more interesting experience for other users as it helps them learn more about you. Additionally, it also helps the social network in preventing fake profiles or spam. For instance, a user who is into mountain climbing can feature a photo of a mountain he or she recently conquered. If you wish to express support to an organization, you may use a status or photo indicating your cause as your cover photo.
Your cover photo is public and can be found on top of your timeline and profile photo. Here's an easy description on how to upload or edit your own Facebook cover photo.
