Golden text effect tutorial

In this tutorial, I will teach you the step by step process in creating this Golden text effect tutorial.

Step 1
We are going to make the base first of the text first. Create a new document with 599×353px (you can use any other size if you wish). Fill the background layer with black color (#000000).
Go to Filter >> Noise >> Add Noise and follow the settings below:

Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur then set these settings:

Step 2
Download this effect, open and place it in your document: Click here to download
Step 3
We are going to create the blur effect at the back of the text. Create a new layer and name it as "megan_blur". Write “megan fox" or any word/name you prefer using this color: #e2cc10.
Go to Filter >> Blur >> Motion Blur and follow these settings:

Then Filter >> Blur >> Box Blur with these settings:

In the layers section, change the opacity of the layer to 39%

Step 4
Now for the text.. this is optional as you can use any other fonts but if you really want an exact copy of the result, download this font: Click here to download
Step 5
Create another new layer and name it as "megan fox" or any name with the size of 200pt. Use this color: #e2cc10 for the text.
Go to Layer menu: Layer Style >> Blending options and apply the following layer blending options:
Dropshadow

Inner Shadow

Outer Glow

Gradient

Stroke

Step 6
Download this grunge effect for the font: Click here to download.
Open the file and drag it in your document. Select the layer >> Right click >> Create Clipping Mask:
