Hi there, I'm Chez, the owner of hot-lyts.com.
I run this site to support Myspace, Friendster and other social networking websites that accepts
HTML.
I opened this site to provide users free non-commercial use of myspace layouts,
graphics, tutorials and other stuff that are mostly related
to myspace.com and other profile/website development.
I started designing in January 2006 at
myspace.com,
it was just a hobby and didn't intend to get this big. I didn't
even bother to think about building my own website! So as days went by, I started seeing few people
using my
layouts and I got inspired making more, so a lot of people kept on adding me, I was like wow.
Since then, I got into it and enjoyed making layouts for my visitors, I continued to make like almost everyday
for completely free
until the day that Moe from
nuclearcentury.com asked if he could host me to his site, it made me so happy
because his site was one of the most popular
site. I accepted that offer, of course, which made
me even more addicted, then I knew that I could make money online from advertisements
such as
google, valueclick, adbrite, etc.... I was amazed that I could make money off the internet.
After few months, I decided to get my own website as I believed that
my site has the potential to grow more. I was nervous at first because it seems really hard to
manage a website by myself but
tiffany ecouraged me to go on. The next day, she lent me money to purchase my
own domain. The domain was supposed to be either
hotlayouts.com or
hot-layouts.com. Unfortunately,
they were already taken, so I had to think another easy domain name and is related to my old sub domain
(hotlayouts.nuclearcentury.com) and this is it. In case you haven't heard about what
lyts mean,
it's the abbreviation of
layouts that was popularized by earlier myspace layout sites. :D
And hey! This is actually my very first job. I never have had any offline jobs before!
I do really enjoy and love doing this , I hope you guys do too!
